| Just like our custom Glycerin log soap, you can also choose a soap log created out of our Shea butter soap! This soap produces a lovely creamy lather that is rich and luscious. Each soap log will weigh about 4 pounds. Shea butter soap is opaque, not clear like our Glycerin base, so embeds and swirls are not as easy to place. If you want swirls and such in your soap (and who can blame you!) you can definitely get them!
The default 'base color' of each fragrance is listed. If you want a different choice, please let us know at the time of order. Custom orders, such as these logs, are not returnable and are not refundable. Once we've begun production, the sale cannot be canceled, either. Please give us at least 5 days to produce, air dry (we prefer to do this before packaging) and ship your custom soap.
Unless you direct us to do so, custom logs will NOT have any swirls or chunks. If you do request a color or style that is not available (black for example) we will be in contact with you prior to producing the soap. If we cannot come to an agreeable design, your order will be canceled without a problem. We want you to be satisfied!
Also please keep in mind that while we do not add colorant to some scents (such as Real Mint) some fragrance oils do have a color that can range from colorless to red. If the scenting oil has a color, the soap will also be tinted. Most of the time, the tint will only change the color from pure white to a warm ivory color. But again, if you have questions about particular oils and final results, it is your responsibility to let us know at the time of your order.
This is your chance to get something that you can't find. Either a special fragrance (or none at all) or to have soap for your retail store that is different from what everyone else has to offer.
Since shea logs are individually produced, we do not have a picture to show you. Each log, as mentioned, will weigh about 4# and can be cut into about 11 bars at 1" thickness. These are the same size loaves as our Glycerin logs. Soap cutter is not included with this sale. Soap log dimensions: 11" long, 3.5" wide (at widest point), 2.75" tall.
Colors that are 'dark' (ie red) may be much lighter in the soap. Adding too much colorant to a soap will produce a soap that will stain washcloths or towels. If you order a scent that is 'red' (for example Watermelon Grapefruit) the actual soap will be produced in a medium cherry color. Dark colors are best suited to embeds such as swirls or chunks. Again, your order of any custom product indicates that you understand that we will make the right decision for our end use customer. No colorant (for base color) will be darker than a midrange shade. Chunks are generally not made in white unless directed by you. 'White' chunk will be nearly perfectly clear.
Ordering here will purchase ONE log of our Shea soap. Logs are not cut or packaged. Each log will be plastic wrapped for shipment.
